After downloading all the Ga. Lottery Cash 3 numbers and sorting them, an interesting number appears. The number that has paid out the most money on a single drawing is: dun dun dundun......... 777. The last time it was drawn was on 6/16/2009 and it paid $1,947,125 to 5294 winners. It has been drawn 10 times in the history of the Ga. Lottery Cash 3. The largest payout was on 1/2/2000 for $27,467,250 to 72409 winners. The total payout for the 10 times it has been drawn is $88,733,300. It has got to be Ga. Lottery officials worst nightmare. In fact, triples are the most played numbers and pay out the most money. The top 85 winning numbers
are all triples.

That's right, it hit on 02-05-1999 for the first time, and has hit 12 times since. That's 12 times in over 9600 draws. How 'bout them odds? You wouldn't have been much better off playing 108 and 645, the two most frequent "straight" numbers. They have each hit only 20 times.

"3 Frequency" Ga Cash 3 Numbers
On 10-22-09, the number 459 was drawn as the Ga. Cash 3 evening number. Up until this draw it was the only number that had only been drawn twice in over 9000 draws.
Now, it joins the list of numbers that have been drawn 3 times in the history of the Ga. Cash 3 Lottery. Here is the list:

Welcome to Lottery Nut!
I'll let you decide what Lottery Nut means. Does it mean that I'm a nut for being interested in the Lottery, or does it mean you're a nut for reading this. Either way someone is the nut. I have always been interested in the lottery, especially Georgia Lottery Cash 3. During the past year or so I developed an Excel spreadsheet that calculates the frequency of Cash 3 numbers. It was a challenge to create. I'll share it with you sometime.
Anyway, my purpose was to see if there was any pattern to the Cash 3 numbers. Over the next several posts I'll reveal my conclusions and some of my discoveries. Hopefully, you'll find them interesting enough to keep returning.
My first story: I didn't know what I was going to say until last night when I discovered that the number that hit was 459. My spreadsheet showed that this number had only hit twice in over 9000 draws, so it was due to hit. Well, it did hit the other day. Now every number as hit at least three times. Will the "3 Frequency" numbers be the new hot numbers? Stay tuned.
